We are hiring
Client Success
FinvestR is a personal finance agent for Indian mutual fund investors. A small number of people trust us with their portfolio of record, and that number is growing. We are looking for one person to own the front line: every client conversation, and the operations that keep the data behind those conversations correct.
What the role actually is
You will be the bridge between our users and our product. Half the job is people: answering questions, setting expectations, and making clients feel their money is being tracked carefully. The other half is operations: making sure every portfolio number we show is right, and finding out why when it is not. You do not need to code. You do need to care that a number is correct before a client sees it.
Client conversations
Be the first voice clients hear. Answer questions over chat, email and calls about portfolios, transactions and reports. Explain things in plain language, follow up until things are closed, and write down what clients keep asking so the product can answer it by itself next time.
Operations that keep data honest
Run the daily pipeline that pulls portfolio data from RTA reports (CAMS, KFintech), check ingestion health, and chase mismatches before clients notice them. Work with the founders on reconciliations: when a number looks wrong, find out why, document it, and get it fixed at the source.
Onboarding and follow-through
Help new clients get set up, verify their data landed correctly, and walk them through the app. Collect feedback and turn it into clear, written problem reports the team can act on.
Distributor desk support
Support the ARN desk: statement requests, mailback reports from RTAs, unmatched-pan triage, and the paperwork rhythm of a mutual fund distribution practice.
Who we are looking for
- 1 to 3 years in client-facing work: customer success, operations, wealth management desk, or fintech support
- Clear written English. Most of this job is writing: updates, follow-ups, and problem reports people can act on
- Comfort with numbers. You can read a portfolio statement, spot that a total looks off, and say why you think so
- Diligence over speed. Our product is a portfolio of record; a wrong number is worse than a slow answer
- Based in Bangalore, or working remotely from anywhere in India
Nice to have
- Exposure to Indian mutual fund operations: folios, NAVs, transaction statements, RTA reports
- Experience working with engineers: writing bug reports, testing fixes, verifying data end to end
- Hindi and English fluency for client calls
What you get
- Own a function that touches every user, from day one
- Work directly with the founders in a small team where your work is visible and credited
- Learn the Indian mutual fund stack from the inside: RTAs, folios, NAV mechanics, reconciliation
- A real equity or ESOP conversation once you have shown impact
Who this is not for
- If you want a front-end sales job pitching products to strangers, this is not that
- If you see support as a stepping stone and operations as below you, this is not that
- If you cannot be precise with numbers or names, this is not that
How to apply
Email [email protected] with:
- Two paragraphs on the best client problem you have ever solved. What was wrong, what you did, how it ended.
- A portfolio statement or report you have worked with (any format) and one thing you would double-check on it before trusting it.
- Your resume or LinkedIn.
No cover letter template, no referrals needed. If your two paragraphs are good, we will reply within a week.
